Through GAP Ministries’ programs and projects, we seek to fill in the gaps that may be present in nursing homes by providing Christian volnteers to meet the spiritual, social, and emotional needs of the elderly.

 

You can volunteer your help in a number of ways, whether it’s  bringing your children to a nursing home once or twice monthly, visiting seniors in nursing homes, sharing Bible studies with seniors who can’t attend church, or sending a Christmas gift to a needy family.

 

If you like crafting, you’ll find opportunites to create warm wraps, slippers, or caplets for seniors in nursing homes.

Join our Christmas Project! Donate lap robes, slippers, or capelets that you have crocheted or quilted. Sew on name tags, wrap gifts, and help distribute gifts in a nursing home. Give a donation to help buy sweatshirts to give to residents, along with the homemade gifts.
