Stephen, a man full of faith and of the Holy Spirit, was chosen to serve the needs and concerns of widows who were being neglected. The character qualities of Stephen, as described in Acts 6 & 7 of the Bible, are those of a wise servant – responsible, full of Holy Spirit, grace, power, and faith. He had the face of an angel and martyr.
