Our volunteers provide loving care in the name of Christ

Your contribution to our mission may be as simple as writing a donation check or sharing bible studies, short devotions, or singing and crafts with a senior in a nursing home.

WHO WE ARE

GAP Ministries is an outreach program to assist churches and individuals in building relationships between Jesus Christ and the elderly.

Christian In-Home Care (CIHC), a division of GAP Ministries, was started in 1992 as a non-profit service to provide non-medical in-home care to seniors. see video

WHAT WE DO

Children’s Hour – Mothers and their children come together at a nursing home once or twice monthly to interact with the residents.

Friendly visitors – Visit a senior in a nursing home regularly … weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly.

Bible studies and worship services – Share with seniors in nursing homes who are unable to attend a regular service.

Adopt a nursing home – Send a birthday card to each resident throughout the year.

Christmas Project – Donate lap robes, caps, and scarves that you have crocheted or quilted. Sew on name tags, wrap gifts, and help distribute gifts in a nursing home.
